About Bridgemode

Bridgemode is a comprehensive network testing and topology simulation suite built for network engineers, IT professionals, and networking enthusiasts who need practical, browser-accessible tools to diagnose and design real-world network configurations. The platform brings together a wide range of utilities — from outgoing port scanning and VPN connectivity testing across multiple protocols (IKEv1, IKEv2, strongSwan, Site-to-Site, SSL VPN, and Windows certificate-based IPsec) to DNS lookups, WAN gateway calculation, ICMP timestamp analysis, and a full-featured network layout builder.

At its core, the Network Layout Builder allows users to design and simulate complex network topologies with firewalls, switches, routers, DHCP servers, and VPN tunnels. Packet flows are traced hop by hop with detailed firewall rule matching, NAT and SNAT translation analysis, DNAT virtual server processing, static route traversal, and CGNAT address handling — giving users a clear, visual understanding of how traffic moves through their infrastructure before a single packet is sent in production. Additional tools such as the Health Dashboard, SSL certificate monitoring, and visitor statistics provide ongoing visibility into server and service availability.

The suite is designed for anyone who works with network infrastructure — from home lab enthusiasts configuring their first VPN tunnel to experienced engineers troubleshooting enterprise firewall rules and CGNAT deployments. We continue to refine the simulator's packet routing accuracy and expand the toolset based on real-world feedback from our community forum.
